都市空間論研究室（Urban Space Theory of Planning and Design）-蕭准教授

都市空間論研究室では、既存の都市計画や都市設計の理論的基礎や方法論を踏まえて、都市空間にまつわる多様な事象について更に学際的なアプローチから紐解いていく。具体的には、フィールドワークから対象空間の実態を把握しつつ、定量的・定性的な分析手法を活用して都市空間の事象や課題を客観的に理解することにより、新たな理論構築につなげるとともに、実務的な都市政策や地域のまちづくり活動にも還元することを目指す。

The Urban Space Theory of Planning and Design laboratory strives to unravel various phenomena related to urban space using an interdisciplinary approach based on the　theoretical foundations and methodologies of existing urban planning and design. Specifically, by conducting fieldwork to understand the condition of each urban space and utilizing both quantitative and qualitative analyses to objectively describe the phenomena and issues of the urban space, we aim to construct a new theoretical framework and contribute simultaneously to practical urban policies as well as community activities.
